Daniel Sorensen

Daniel Sorensen is an experienced professional in open source intelligence and data strategies, currently serving as an External Lecturer in Open Source Intelligence at Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole since April 2024, while simultaneously working as a Datastrateg at TV 2 FYN since April 2022. Daniel is also the Founder and Principal Investigator at NOIR - Nordic Open Source Intelligence Research-collective, focusing on innovative research methods for environmental and human rights investigations. Previously, Daniel held roles such as Co-Founder and CEO at RELA, where project management for an EU-funded initiative was key, and Owner and Chief Designer at Ziito ApS, leading innovative furniture design initiatives. Daniel has engaged in various artist residencies and holds multiple degrees in Fine Arts from prestigious institutions, including Goldsmiths College and Gerrit Rietveld Academie.
