Kinyette S. Newman

Kinyette S. Newman has extensive work experience in the media industry. Kinyette S. started their career at Discovery Communications in 1996 as a Senior Production Coordinator and later moved to the position of Production Manager and Unit Manager. In 2005, they joined TV One as the Director of Production Management. At TV One, they held various roles including Vice President of Production Management, Vice President of Production Finance and Operations, and most recently, SVP of Production Finance & Chief of Staff to Office of the President. Kinyette's expertise lies in production management, finance, and operations within the media industry.

Kinyette S. Newman attended Essex High School from 1985 to 1989. After finishing high school, they enrolled at George Mason University from 1989 to 1993 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree in Radio, TV, and Film at Howard University from 1994 to 1996. Recently, Kinyette attended the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, completing the Executive Leadership Development Program in 2019.
