Akmal Idrus

Akmal Idrus is a versatile professional with extensive experience in media and sustainability initiatives. As the Founder and CEO of Rappo Indonesia since June 2020, Akmal has spearheaded various projects aimed at promoting environmental awareness. In addition, Akmal serves as a Senior Officer for Plastic Smart Cities programs affiliated with WWF Indonesia and UNEP, focusing on sustainable urban practices. In the media sector, Akmal has held multiple roles at TVRI Nasional from January 2019, including News Anchor and Editor. Previous positions include Auditor for the CHSE program at PT. SUCOFINDO and various news roles at FAJAR TV Makassar and PT. Media Fajar Koran. Akmal holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from Universitas Hasanuddin and has furthered entrepreneurial skills through courses at the National University of Singapore and the Makadaya Fellowship.
