Kofi Asante

Kofi Asante has extensive work experience in the field of information security and IT. Kofi started their career in 2004 as an IT Executive at tv3 network limited, where they worked until 2008. From 2008 to 2011, Kofi worked as a System Administrator at Universata Inc. Following this, they joined ExtechConsult in 2012 as an Information Security and FISMA Compliance Analyst, and remained in this role until 2015. In 2015, they joined TWD & Associates, Inc. as a Senior Information System Security Officer. Later that year, Kofi transitioned to BY LIGHT PROFESSIONAL IT SERVICES, INC as a Senior Information Security Analyst, where they worked until early 2016.

Kofi Asante completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Cyber Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2012 to 2015. Kofi has obtained several certifications, including Certified In Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA in October 2021, Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in October 2021, CISSP from (ISC)² in September 2016, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in February 2016, Security+ from CompTIA in February 2012, AWS Certified Security - Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2020, Amazon Web Services Security Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2020, A+ from CompTIA, and Network+ from CompTIA.
