Leonhard Markert

Leonhard Markert has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to 2019. Leonhard worked as a Software Engineer at Tweag I/O from September 2019 to the present, where they were involved in various projects including the extension of a Rust tool, rewriting a Haskell library, JVM/distributed system benchmarking and optimization, and coaching and testing in a critical component rewrite project. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Improbable from September 2015 to March 2019. Leonhard also had a role as a Junior Consultant at TNG Technology Consulting from July 2013 to September 2013, where they built a distributed key-value store based on structured voting schemes. Leonhard had internships at Cambridge CMOS Sensors Ltd in December 2011 and from June 2011 to August 2011.

Leonhard Markert obtained their Abitur from Landesgymnasium für Hochbegabte in 2010. Leonhard then attended the University of Cambridge from 2010-2012, where they pursued a degree in Engineering. Following this, from 2012-2015, they continued their education at the University of Cambridge, completing a Master's Degree in Computer Science.
