Simeon Carstens is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in statistical genetics, data engineering, and Bayesian statistics. Currently serving as a Project Lead at Tweag since May 2019, Simeon oversees projects in collaboration with a major pharmaceutical company and contributes to open-source initiatives. Previously, valuable research experience was gained as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry and New York University, developing innovative Bayesian methods for chromatin structure inference and collaborating on various interdisciplinary projects.
