Sander Nierop Groot has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Sander started their career in 1999 as a Programmer at Myrpa Consulting BV, where they worked until 2002. From 2002 to 2011, they worked at Avenance Nederland as a Programmer, handling tasks such as network automation and improvement. During their time there, they successfully completed projects like developing a new time registration system.
In 2011, Sander joined Compass as a Project Manager ICT and Databeheerder. Sander took on responsibilities such as managing SQL servers, leading projects, and overseeing tasks related to kassasoftware and SAP integration. Sander played a crucial role in successfully completing various projects at Compass, including sales promotion, article management, and outsourcing SQL servers for kassasoftware.
Between 2016 and 2018, Sander worked at Quarto as a Product Manager. Sander was responsible for product management tasks before moving on to a new company called Twelve in 2018. At Twelve, Sander assumed the role of Product Owner/Scrum Master before eventually becoming the Head of DevOps in July 2022.
Throughout their career, Sander has showcased their expertise in programming, project management, product management, and DevOps.
Sander Nierop Groot completed their Havo degree at Prins Willem Alexander from 1988 to 1993. Following this, they attended HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained an Ing degree in Informatica. Additionally, in November 2015, Sander obtained a certification as MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft.
