Ben Hitt

Ben Hitt is a seasoned professional in intellectual property with extensive experience across multiple organizations, currently serving as Sr. Director of Intellectual Property at Twelve since October 2021, after holding the same title earlier at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America, Inc. from November 2011 to September 2021. Prior to this, Ben Hitt worked at Landon IP from December 2005 to November 2010, where responsibilities included participating in the USPTO pilot contract program and conducting patent searches in diverse technological fields. Ben Hitt began professional experience as a Special Projects Researcher Intern at the Space Transportation Association in early 2005. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering Science with a focus on Acoustics from Iowa State University and participation in internships through The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars.
