L. Kate Berni (Burn-Eye)

L. Kate Berni has extensive experience in recruitment and program management, currently serving as a Senior Recruiter in Sustainability at Twelve since February 2022. Prior roles include Talent Acquisition Manager at Activate and Technical Recruiter positions at Amazon and Amazon Web Services, where L. Kate focused on sourcing top engineering talent. Prior to entering the tech recruitment field, L. Kate held leadership roles in rowing programs, including Program Director and Head Coach at the George Pocock Rowing Foundation. L. Kate began maritime work with a background as a deckhand and naturalist in various sailing and charter companies. L. Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts in Renewable Energy from Western Washington University, attained between 2009 and 2013.
