Marjan Weekhout

Marjan Weekhout is an experienced educational and organizational leader with a significant background in governance and management. Currently serving as a member of the board for the users' association SamenSOM and a member of the Supervisory Board at Woningstichting Sint Joseph Almelo, Marjan has held various leadership roles, including Rector at Twents Carmel College and chair of the General Board of AOS-ON, focusing on the training of future teachers. With previous experience in organizations such as Zorggroep Sint Maarten and the VO-raad, Marjan’s contributions span multiple sectors, including education and social services. Additionally, Marjan has an extensive history in academia at Saxion, promoting knowledge valorization and fostering partnerships. An educational background in Government & Law, coupled with advanced studies at Nyenrode Business University and the University of Twente, underpins Marjan's strategic and leadership capabilities.
