Paolo Busco serves as a Senior Legal Advisor in International Law at the Prime Minister's Office in the UAE, providing strategic legal support on international law matters relevant to the UAE's foreign relations since June 2022. With a diverse background, Paolo has held key legal roles at Twenty Essex as a barrister in public international law since December 2017, and has been engaged in private practice in Italy since 2014. Previous positions include a Legal Advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, Senior Legal Advisor to the FAO focusing on the law of the sea, and consultancy at Italy's Home Ministry concerning international law and migration. Academic qualifications include a PhD in International Dispute Settlement from the University of Paris I and multiple law degrees from prestigious institutions such as the University of Cambridge and Luiss Guido Carli University.
