Flávio Freitas

Flávio Freitas has extensive work experience in the field of data engineering and analysis. Flávio currently works as a Data Engineer at DeLaval, starting in June 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Data Engineer at Twigeo from December 2022. Flávio also worked as a Data Engineer and Data Analyst at Twigeo from June 2021 to December 2022 and from September 2019 to June 2021, respectively.

Flávio is also a former PhD Candidate at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they worked from March 2015 to June 2019. Flávio gained international experience as an International Consultant at the FAO, working from June 2014 to December 2014, April 2013 to August 2013, and July 2012 to February 2013. Flávio further served as a Consultant at Chalmers University of Technology from February 2013 to April 2013.

Flávio began their academic journey as a student at the Royal Institute of Technology from March 2009 to July 2011. Flávio also pursued their studies at the University of São Paulo from February 2005 to July 2011 and participated as an Exchange Student at UGent from February 2010 to July 2010.

Flávio Freitas obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Land Use Planning and Management/Development from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Prior to their doctoral studies, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Environmental Engineering from the same institution. Flávio also attended the USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2005 to 2011, where they studied Agronomy. In addition, they briefly attended Ghent University in 2010.
