Chris Lyon is the VP of Engineering at Twilio Segment. Prior to this, they were the SVP of Engineering at MuleSoft from March 2017 to May 2021. Chris oversaw and built new capabilities for customer-facing product areas of the platform, including the API Manager, Security, and Private Cloud Edition. Chris also oversaw horizontal foundational teams, such as Kubernetes Platform and Engineering Services. In June 2018, Salesforce acquired MuleSoft.

From February 2017 to February 2019, Chris was an Advisor at Armorblox. During this time, they took Jive Public and oversaw all compliance and security requirements. Chris was also responsible for Global Data Center Operations, remote hands, vendor negotiations, and ongoing relationship management. Additionally, they created and designed a large Virtual environment consisting of over 20,000 virtual guest systems.

From January 2016 to January 2018, Chris was an Advisor at Uptycs.

Chris Lyon attended California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, University of Phoenix, La Canada High School, and Pasadena City College.
