Chtp David Tonche

David Tonche, CHTP has a strong background in IT and technology operations. David is currently the Director of IT at Twin Dolphin Los Cabos since June 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Cluster Director of IT for Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal and Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort from July 2021 to June 2023. In this role, they focused on implementing innovative projects to increase shareholder value, profitability, and customer satisfaction. From September 2019 to July 2021, David was the Director of Information Technology at Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal. David also gained experience as an IT Director and IT Manager at The Resort at Pedregal from November 2010 to September 2019. David started their career as a Senior Web Developer at Asteria OPEN Brand from October 2006 to November 2010 and served as the Communications Chief at Sheraton Hacienda del Mar from July 2004 to October 2006.

David Tonche, CHTP pursued their engineering education at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California Sur from 1999 to 2004, where they specialized in software development. David further enhanced their expertise by obtaining additional certifications, including a Technology Leadership Certification from Cornell University in October 2022. In addition, they have earned the Certified Hospitality Technology Professional (CHTP) designation from the Hospitality Financial & Technology Professionals (HFTP).
