Rebecca Dougherty

Rebecca Dougherty is a seasoned library and media specialist with extensive experience in both academic and school library settings. Currently serving as a School Library Media Specialist for TWIN LAKES #4 SCHOOL DISTRICT, Rebecca oversees collection development, programming, and resource management while leading STEM-focused curriculum design. Previous roles include Research Coordinator/Librarian at Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology, where responsibilities included managing library resources and providing research support, and Library Services Manager for the Milwaukee Public Library's Rare Books Room. With a strong commitment to information literacy and technology integration, Rebecca has also contributed to various educational institutions, enhancing library services and promoting student-centered learning environments. Rebecca holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree in Film Studies/English from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
