Yunus Mert has a diverse work experience. Yunus is the Founder of My Friend AI, a startup focused on harnessing Artificial Intelligence (AI) for business optimization and efficiency. In this role, Yunus drives the strategic vision of the company and manages services such as AI implementation consulting. Prior to this, Yunus served as the Geschäftsführer at Dt-Handel e.U. From 2011 to 2017, they worked at Turkish Airlines in various roles, including General Manager, Marketing Manager, and Marketing Specialist.

Yunus Mert's education history begins in 2005 when they enrolled at the University of Vienna to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Kommunikation und Mediastudien. This program lasted from 2005 to 2008. Following the completion of their Bachelor's degree, Yunus Mert continued their studies at the University of Vienna and obtained a Master's degree in Politische Wissenschaft und Regierung, which spanned from 2005 to 2009. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD) in Politische Wissenschaft und Regierung at the University of Vienna, from 2011 to 2017.
