Ellen Lopez has extensive experience in the addiction treatment field, currently serving as the Coordinator of Quality Improvement, Compliance and Training at Twin Town Treatment Centers since 2007. Responsibilities include managing employee files, overseeing counselor credentialing, ensuring compliance with JCAHO, DHCS, and MediCal requirements, and conducting in-service trainings for staff at multiple locations. Additionally, Ellen is involved in the interview and hiring process for new interns and counselors, facilitates process and education groups, and conducts biopsychosocial assessments. Previously, from September 2015 to November 2016, Ellen worked as a Counselor at Artemis Hill Recovery, focusing on assessment, treatment planning, individual counseling, and discharge planning. Ellen holds a Bachelor's degree in General Studies from the University of Arizona and has certifications in Alcohol & Drug Counseling and Health Coaching.

Addiction is a complex, multifaceted disease that affects the whole person. It disrupts a person's physical, psychological, interpersonal, emotional and spiritual life. The goal of Twin Town Treatment Center's Outpatient Program is to initiate a process of recovery through guided practice in making natural, planned changes in behavior, with the anticipated outcome of a chemically free and comfortable lifestyle. Programs are segregated by developmental age: developmental age 12-17 for Adolescent Services; developmental age 18 and older for Adult Services.
