Jordi Aguilá

Jordi Aguilá has a diverse work experience. Jordi is currently the Head of Data and Modeling at Twinco Capital and City Leader at Spain AI, both starting in 2022. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist at Ebury. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Data Analyst at Wayfair, where they performed an alerting system for price, revenue and margin changes, studied the relationship between different KPIs, wrote complex queries in T-SQL and MDX code, and analyzed and classified market prices. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Postdoctoral Scientist at the German Primate Center, where they studied the contribution of the cholinergic system on the attentional modulation effect on the macaque's visual middle temporal area. From 2011 to 2016, they were a PhD Student at the University of A Coruna, where they studied the role of the feedback connections in visual processing and the magnetic neuromodulation of the primate visual system.

Jordi Aguilá's education history includes a Licenciatura in Física from the Universidad de Sevilla from 2002 to 2009, a Máster in Biofísica from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2009 to 2011, and a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Neuroscience from the Universidade da Coruña from 2011 to 2015.
