Alex M. has a diverse work experience in the technology industry.

Starting in 1999, Alex worked as a Flight Instructor at Booker Gliding Centre.

In 2002, Alex became the Electrical Team Leader for the Stanford Solar Car Project, where they managed the budget, design, and team for a solar-powered car.

From 2005 to 2010, Alex held roles at Autonomy, Inc. (acquired by Hewlett-Packard), first as a Technology Specialist, responsible for building winning proof of concepts for customers, and later as the VP of OEM Technology.

In 2011, Alex joined Bloomberg LP as the Head of Product for Bloomberg Vault, where they defined product strategy and roadmap.

From 2013 to 2016, Alex worked at Dropbox, first as the Head of Enterprise Solutions and later as a Product Manager. In these roles, they led the development of enterprise products and defined strategies aligned with customer needs.

In 2017, Alex became the Head of Product at Quartzy, Inc, leading the product team and driving an 80% increase in revenue.

Currently, Alex is the Co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Twingate, a network security product. In this role, they are responsible for product, design, pre-sales engineering, and technical support.

Alex M. completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, they attended The Royal Grammar School in High Wycombe, UK, from 1995 to 2001, where they pursued A-Levels in Maths, Physics, German, Further Maths (AS), and Electronics (AS).

In addition to their education, Alex M. obtained the following certifications:

- Private Pilot, Aircraft Single Engine Land (ASEL); Instrument rated from the Federal Aviation Administration in May 2009.

- Glider Pilot certification from the BRITISH GLIDING ASSOCIATION LIMITED in March 1999.
