Afraa Alyoussef

Afraa Alyoussef is a seasoned professional in content creation and illustration, currently working at Twinkl Educational Publishing since January 2017 in various roles including Content Writer, Product Owner, and International Market Coordinator. With extensive experience as a freelance cartoonist and illustrator since September 2000, Afraa has focused on children's book publishing and licensed products in greeting cards. Prior work includes contributions to Syrian television from October 2002 to October 2004. Afraa holds a PhD in Communication and Media Studies from Sheffield Hallam University (2018-2022), a Master's Degree in Visual Culture from The Manchester Metropolitan University (2011-2013), and a Diploma in Children's Book Illustrating from London Art College (2008-2009).
