Anthony Romeo

Anthony Romeo has extensive experience in quality control and research within the biotechnology and academic sectors. Currently serving as Director of Quality Control at Twist Bioscience since June 2016, Anthony has previously held positions as QC Manager and QC Specialist. Prior roles at Genentech included Technical Development Research Associate, focusing on product and method development, as well as Research Associate and QC Research Assistant in the PCR lab, contributing to method validation for products advancing to clinical trials. Anthony's academic background includes an MS in Cell & Molecular Biology from San Francisco State University and a BS in Biology from Youngstown State University, complemented by experience as a Graduate Researcher and Teaching Assistant, alongside earlier roles in laboratory management and customer service.
