Darren Anthony

Darren Anthony is an experienced project manager and bioprocess engineer with a strong background in biotechnology and fermentation processes. Currently serving as a Project Manager in BioPharma at Twist Bioscience since February 2023, Darren previously held roles including Manager of R&D - Fermentation at Full Cycle, where responsibilities included overseeing research progress, managing the fermentation lab, and leading cross-functional team meetings. Earlier experience includes positions at New Age Meats, Lygos, Genentech, and Vertex Pharmaceuticals, focusing on bioprocess development, mass transfer analysis, and process engineering. Darren holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from UC San Diego and has demonstrated a consistent ability to optimize processes and enhance communication across interdisciplinary teams.
