Weeney Chan

Weeney Chan has extensive experience in laboratory management and production within the biotechnology sector, currently serving as Lab Manager II at Twist Bioscience since August 2017, overseeing day-to-day operations in library production and focusing on project management, process improvement, and troubleshooting. Previously, Weeney held various roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific, including Lead Operator and Senior Operator in Synthetic Biology, where responsibilities included managing sequencing operations, leading implementation processes, and performing quality control. Weeney's earlier experience includes positions as a Laboratory Technician and Laboratory Assistant, contributing to compliance and quality assurance in clinical settings. Weeney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Microbiology and Chinese Language and Literature from the University of California, Davis, and has also studied at National Taiwan University.
