Nicholas Bedbury

Nicholas Bedbury has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Nicholas began their career at Dow Corning Corp. in 2008 as a Summer S.E.E.D. intern. In 2009, they worked as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Consumers Energy, where they were responsible for maintaining the electric distribution system. Starting in 2011, Nicholas joined SRC as a Digital Engineer, focusing on designing HDL firmware for FPGAs in RF systems, simulating algorithms, and developing embedded software for various chips. Nicholas worked at SRC until 2017. Since 2017, Nicholas has been working at twisthink as a Senior Software Engineer, where they specialize in technology design consulting for IoT, remote sensing, and consumer electronics. Nicholas is involved in architecting and developing microcontroller and embedded Linux solutions for custom hardware, as well as leading board bringup and system integration.

Nicholas Bedbury received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Michigan Technological University in the period from 2007 to 2011. Nicholas pursued further education and earned their Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University from 2011 to 2014.
