Tasia Haygood

Tasia Haygood is an experienced UX designer who has worked in various roles and companies. Tasia started their career at the Archdiocese of Chicago, where they taught technology and coding to students in grades K-8. Tasia also provided support to first-year teachers and collaborated with the administration on student evaluations and expectations.

In 2018, Tasia joined Designation, a digital design apprenticeship program, where they further developed their skills and knowledge in UX design. Tasia learned software tools like Axure and Sketch and gained experience in collaborative teamwork.

After completing the apprenticeship, Tasia worked at Reverb as a UX researcher, collaborating with stakeholders to shape the direction of the company. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's Degree in Applied Science from John A. Logan College between 2002 and 2005. Tasia completed their high school education at Carterville High School from 1998 to 2002, where they focused on General Studies.

In addition to their formal education, Tasia Haygood has obtained additional certifications. In July 2015, they received an Educator License from the South Carolina Department of Education. Before that, in May 2012, they obtained a Professional Educator License from the Illinois State Board of Education.
