Jan Čermák

Jan Čermák has a diverse work experience. Jan is currently working as a Credit Risk Manager for Twisto, A Zip Company, focusing on the Czech Market. Prior to this, they worked at ESSOX CZ (Societe Generale Group) as a Portfolio Risk analyst from December 2016 to March 2022, where they had additional responsibilities and job experience as a representative of the company. Jan also worked at Barclaycard on a company-sponsored dissertation project titled "Optimising Credit Risk Underwriting Models" from May 2016 to August 2016. During their time at Barclaycard, they gained valuable skills in communication, presentation, time management, coding in SAS, and advanced modeling through real-life case work on the UK credit card portfolio.

Jan Čermák completed their Bachelor's degree in Corporate Economics and Management from Prague University of Economics and Business in 2015. Jan then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Banking and Risk Management at The University of Edinburgh from 2015 to 2016.
