Daniel Clancy is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in product and engineering leadership across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Twitch and previously the President of Twitch Interactive, Clancy has led key functions such as product development and engineering. Prior roles include Vice President of Product and Engineering at Nextdoor, Inc., and various senior positions at Google, including Senior Director of Research and Engineering and Consumer Product Lead for YouTube. Clancy also held significant roles at NASA Ames Research Center, including Director of the Information Sciences and Technology Directorate and Chief of the Computational Sciences Division. Academically, Clancy holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Texas at Austin and a BA in Computer Science/Theater from Duke University.
