Flavien Bessede

Flavien Bessede is a seasoned data engineering professional currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Twitch since February 2023. Prior to this, Bessede held prominent roles at Updater as both Director and Data Engineering Manager from January 2020 to March 2023. Previous experience includes positions as a Senior Data Engineer at Skip and Instagram, and various data science and engineering roles at Twitter across a five-year span. Bessede began the career as an Analytics Engineer at Chartboost, where the design and implementation of a data warehouse were key achievements. Early career internships at Outspark and GFI Informatique provided foundational skills in data warehousing and SQL optimization. Bessede also contributed to education as a Teacher Assistant at SUPINFO, teaching database administration and programming. Flavien Bessede holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology Science from SUPINFO and a certification in Management and Marketing of Information Technology from Dominican University of California.
