Tim Costa

Tim Costa is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend architecture and data management, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Twitch on the Security Data Platform since April 2022. Previously, Tim held the role of Team Lead for the Unified Data Pipeline at OutSystems, overseeing a large-scale data pipeline while mentoring team members and collaborating with numerous stakeholders. Tim's expertise includes architecting complex systems, such as HIPAA compliant video delivery systems and GraphQL data aggregation engines, during tenure with companies like Pager, Tempus, and 2U. Notably, Tim co-founded Chalkup, a student engagement platform, and began a career as a Sailing Instructor while pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Lafayette College.
