David Palaitis

David Palaitis is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in investment management and enterprise search. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Investment Management Platform Engineering at Two Sigma since December 2014, David focuses on setting strategic platform direction and cultivating a culture of innovation and collaboration. Previously, David held roles at Two Sigma including Senior Vice President for Simulations, where contributions included the development of a multi-cloud resource scheduler. Prior experience at Citi involved leading the architecture of the Enterprise Search Platform, supporting over 1 million users globally. David's career began at American International Group, addressing IT security challenges as a Security Architect. David holds a BS/BA in Computer Science and Chemistry from Rutgers University.
