Timothy Zhu

Timothy Zhu is an accomplished Software Engineer with significant experience in building impactful technology solutions, currently employed at Two Sigma since May 2022. Notably, Timothy developed an in-house analysis tool for data scientists, which received acclaim during a product launch talk at an internal conference. Previously, as a Senior Software Engineer at StartupTree from June 2019 to April 2022, Timothy led a team of ten, significantly enhancing productivity and implementing major upgrades to the Mentorship Module. Timothy's leadership extended to Life Changing Labs, where responsibilities included directing two teams and managing a summer accelerator program. Timothy's academic background includes a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Ohio State University, complemented by recognition as an exceptional teaching assistant.
