Ying Zhang

Ying Zhang is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in statistical analysis and education. Currently serving as Vice President and Data Scientist at Two Sigma since October 2021, Ying previously held the position of Quantitative Research Intern at the same company from May to July 2020. From August 2017 to October 2021, Ying contributed to the academic community at Penn State University as a Graduate Assistant, leading lab sessions for over 100 students in STAT200, collaborating on exam preparation for STAT415, and supporting courses in statistical theory. Ying is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Statistics from Penn State University, following a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Renmin University of China and a year of study at the University of California, Davis.
