Jared Ziegler has extensive work experience in the field of research and technology. Jared started their career as an Information Technology Intern at Target in 2000. Jared then joined the National Security Agency in 2002 as a Vulnerability Analysis Summer Hire. From 2004 to 2020, Jared held various roles at the National Security Agency, including Cryptographic Vulnerability Analyst, Software Developer, and Security Researcher. In 2020, they joined Two Six Technologies as a Principal Research Engineer and later progressed to the role of Senior Principal Research Engineer. Currently, Jared works at Two Six Technologies as an Associate Research Director.
Jared Ziegler completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Asian Studies at St. Olaf College from 1997 to 2001. Jared then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at The University of Tulsa from 2002 to 2003. In 2008, they attended the University of Maryland for Computer Science studies, but did not obtain a degree at that time.
