William Simmons

William Simmons has a diverse work experience in academia and research. William is currently working as a Lead Research Scientist at Two Six Technologies since September 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Postdoctoral Fellow at Carnegie Mellon University from January 2021 to August 2022. From 2018 to 2020, they served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Before that, they were a Rademacher Instructor of Mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania from 2014 to 2018. William also worked as an Assistant Adjunct Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2013.

William Simmons earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Brigham Young University in 2004. William then pursued a Master of Science degree in Mathematics at the same university until 2007. From 2007 to 2013, they obtained a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Illinois Chicago.
