Joonas Nieminen

Joonas Nieminen has a strong background in project coordination and Scrum mastery. Joonas currently works at twoday Finland as a Project Coordinator and Scrum Master, where they manage a development team working on a client portal project for a major University Hospital in Finland. Prior to this, Joonas held similar roles at Visma Finland and BearIT Oy, where they also facilitated Scrum methods and managed daily work for development teams. Additionally, Joonas has experience as an Account Manager at Buildie and EmCe Solution Partner Oy, where they were responsible for key accounts and developed strong client relationships. Earlier in their career, Joonas worked as a Shift Manager at Tykkimäen huvipuisto and as a Substitute Teacher at Kouvolan kaupunki, City of Kouvola. Joonas also founded and served as the Chairman of the Board at M.IDEA, a media house for multimedia communications. Joonas has a diverse range of experience and a strong track record of success in project coordination, Scrum mastering, account management, and leadership roles.

Joonas Nieminen began their education in 2013, attending Lahti University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Leadership and Communications. Joonas completed their degree in 2016.

In 2020, Joonas enrolled in the LEAN Specialist Programme at Häme University of Applied Sciences, HAMK. Their time at HAMK lasted until 2021, where they gained expertise in Lean practices.

Additionally, in December 2021, Joonas obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
