Sirpa Uusiheimala has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Sirpa began their career in 1987 at Finnair, where they worked as an IT Support Specialist and Trainer. Their responsibilities included maintaining PC and network environments, providing user support, and organizing and conducting PC-related training classes.
In 2002, Sirpa joined IBM Finland as a Project & Project Portfolio Manager. Sirpa specialized in project portfolio management and successfully managed various customer IT projects from different business areas for almost two decades.
Sirpa currently holds the position of Project Manager and Service Management Lead at twoday Finland since November 2020. In this role, they lead an IT development project focused on case management, document management, digital archiving, and digital signatures. Sirpa also serves as the customer responsible, ensuring the delivery of the best possible solutions and service. Additionally, Sirpa is responsible for improving practices and supporting the success of the Service Management team.
Sirpa Uusiheimala's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from Helsinki Business Polytechnics (IT Institute). Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting and Finance as well as a Graduate of Commercial/Business school degree with a specialization in Marketing, both obtained from Kouvolan Liiketalouden ja Ulkomaankaupan Instituutti.
