Firas Chihada

Firas Chihada has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations. Firas started their career as a Senior Systems Administrator at International Training Institute in 2003, where they troubleshooted and developed solutions for server and software issues. Firas also responded to production alerts and documented network and system connectivity maps. In 2004, Firas joined Akkad Holding as an IT Project Manager, where they ensured the timely delivery and quality of IT projects while managing and motivating their project team. In 2008, they moved on to twofour54 Abu Dhabi - Media and Entertainment Hub, where they held multiple roles. Firstly, as an IT Projects Manager, they successfully managed and delivered various IT projects, from initiation to closure, ensuring compliance with project practices and agreements. Later, as the IT Infrastructure Manager, they strategically planned and managed IT services provisioned to over 200 partner companies across four campuses. Finally, as the Head of the Information Technology Department, Firas oversaw the direction and management of the IT department, ensuring the alignment of technology initiatives with business goals.

Firas Chihada has a diverse education history in the field of Information Technology. Firas attended Jami't Alep from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology Engineering. In 2004, Firas received certifications from Microsoft as a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).

In 2009, Firas pursued further studies in IT Services Delivery Management and obtained the ITIL Foundation V3 certification from EXIN. From 2009 to 2015, they attended ITIL and completed the ITIL Intermediate Service Operation (SO) and Service Transition (ST) certifications.

In 2012, Firas obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) degree from an undisclosed institution. Additionally, Firas has sought to expand their knowledge further with ongoing efforts to complete the ITIL Expert certification by the end of 2015.
