Juan Camacho

Juan Camacho has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Juan has worked in various roles at different companies throughout their career.

Juan's most recent position was as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at TWST Events, a role they assumed in 2013.

Prior to that, they worked at NetSuite as a Principal Software Engineer from 2011 to 2013. In this role, they built PSA functionality on NetSuite's core financials/ERP SaaS platform using Java with an Oracle backend. Juan also led a project team and served as the lead developer and scrum master.

Before their time at NetSuite, Juan worked at NetSuite OpenAir as a Principal Software Engineer from 2007 to 2011. Here, they played a key role in spec, design, and coding of various enhancements related to PSA. Juan also provided technical solutions and supervision to a team of developers.

Juan's work experience also includes a stint as the Director of Development at Computershare Limited in 2007. Juan managed a group of programmers and implemented best practices for release management and code reusability.

Prior to that, Juan worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Cambridge Interactive Development Corp. from 2003 to 2007. Here, they built and architectured a payment processing system supporting various payment processors.

In 2002, Juan worked at Boston.com - Boston Globe as a Task Manager/Senior Software Engineer. Juan interpreted system requirements and developed project plans.

In 2001, Juan held the position of Director of Programming at GenuOne. Here, they created an administration system and developed XML/RPC services.

Juan's earlier work experience includes positions such as Senior Perl Programmer at Carescout.com in 2000 and Web Developer at SilverPlatter Information from 1998 to 2000.

Their first job was as a Webmaster at NovaSoft Systems, Inc. in 1997. In this role, they developed a customer support system and implemented a complete redesign of the corporate website.
