Ijsbrand Karman

IJsbrand Karman has a diverse range of work experience in mechanical engineering, product management, industrial design, and research. IJsbrand is currently employed at TWTG as a Lead Mechanical Engineer since April 2023, and previously worked at TWTG as a Product Engineer from May 2022 to April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Airborne as a Mechanical Engineer from September 2019 to April 2022. IJsbrand also had experience at Solartechno Europe B.V. as a Product Manager from January 2019 to August 2019. Additionally, they worked at IJs Design and Strategy as an Industrial Designer from June 2016 to August 2019. IJsbrand also gained experience at EXASUN, where they held multiple roles including Research and Development Engineer, Production Coordinator, and Research Engineer from September 2015 to July 2017. IJsbrand started their career as a Graduation Student at Spaac Motorized Bicycles from September 2014 to May 2015 and served as a Board Member at S.W.V. Plankenkoorts from September 2013 to August 2014.

IJsbrand Karman completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Industrial Design Engineering with a specialization in Strategic Product Design from Delft University of Technology. IJsbrand studied at the university from 2008 to 2015.
