Eric Funk

Eric Funk has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Eric is currently working as the Head of Software Engineering, Content Management Platform at TX Group AG. Prior to this, they were the Technical Team Lead at Open Web Technology. From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Director of Managed Services at Nine Internet Solutions, where they managed Scrum teams and implemented technology strategies. Before that, Eric held the position of Team Lead Engineering at Digitec Galaxus AG, where they led an engineering team and orchestrated the migration of a search system. Eric also served as the Head of Development at joiz Global and SWISS TXT, leading teams and creating software platforms. Eric has experience as a Technical Director at Kerb and a Technical Project Manager at BBDO InterOne and Kabel New Media AG.

Eric Funk attended Hochschule Mittweida from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Dipl Ing (FH) in Media Engineering. In addition, they obtained certifications in Kubernetes Essentials from Linux Academy in October 2020 and in Linux System Maintenance from LinkedIn in May 2019.
