Amanda Leigh Snyder has worked in the software engineering industry since 2007. Amanda Leigh began their career as an intern at Edwards and Kelcey, where they used AutoCAD and MicroStation to design bridge and ITS system plans, and converted drawings from AutoCAD to MicroStation. In 2008, they took on a Co-op role at Baxter Healthcare, where they designed a Screen-flow Module in Doors, updated System Requirements and Risk Management documents using Doors, and developed a glucose profiling concept for Peritoneal Dialysis devices. In 2010, they interned at Vasc-Alert, programming for patient information data retrieval using SQL Relational Databases, and performing database analysis for Blood Flow Rates and Dialysis Access Types. From 2011 to 2019, they worked at ThoughtWorks as a Lead Software Engineer, Senior Application Developer, and Consultant. Most recently, they have been a Principal Software Engineer at TXI since 2019.

Amanda Leigh Snyder attended Northwestern University from 2006 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering.
