David McKay

David McKay is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in training management and instructional design. Currently serving as Utility Operations Training Manager at PNM Resources since April 2014, David oversees training programs to ensure compliance with federal regulations while providing leadership to a team of senior training professionals. Prior to this role, David held the position of Deputy Director at the Emergency Operations Training Academy, managing a $4.2 million budget and leading the development of distance and classroom training. David's early career includes roles as a Training Specialist and as a Superintendent in the United States Air Force, focusing on the training and performance of military personnel. David holds a Master's degree in Management and Leadership from Webster University and a Bachelor's degree in Workforce Education and Training from Southern Illinois University.
