Marcus Stroud

Marcus is a founding partner at TXV. He focuses on investments across consumer technology and software. Prior to TXV, Marcus was a partner at ClG, and associate at Vida Capital and MarketAxess. Marcus has been named to the “Dallas CEO 500” for both 2020 and 2021, and was recognized as a member of the Forbes 30 under 30 class of 2022. He serves on the board of Dallas based Trey Athletes. He received his B.A. from Princeton where he played on the football team.

Personal Facts/Interests - Marcus loves to explore new music - considers Classic R&B, Yacht Rock, and Country to be his favorites. In his free time, he loves driving to small towns in Texas and eating at the local restaurants - as well as getting a great workout every morning with his Future Coach, Matt. He considers himself a taco connoisseur. Originally born and raised in Louisiana - Marcus became a Texan when he was 10 years old and never looked back! He is sadly a die-hard Cowboys fan, and loves cheering for his Tigers and Longhorns on Saturdays.
