Jason Brannon has worked in the software engineering and IT field for over 25 years. Jason began their career in 1994 with the United States Marine Corps as a Combat Engineer. From 1999 to 2002, they worked as a Software Engineer at the VA Medical Center and at WVMI. In 2003, they took on the role of Interactive Developer at Hart Associates. In 2005, they became a Sr. Web Developer (Mandaree Enterprises) at the Defense Logistics Agency. From 2008 to 2009, they were an IT Director at Kadix Systems and a Principal Systems Engineer at Dynamics Research Corporation. From 2012 to 2017, they worked as a Consultant at InfoReliance. Most recently, they have been a Principal Software Security Engineer at Tychon since 2017.

Jason Brannon attended Marshall University from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Management Information Systems.
