Kate Cassidy has over a decade of experience in marketing, events, and business development. Kate began their career in 2006 as a Brand Ambassador and Recruiter for Alloy Media + Marketing and an Editorial Intern for Philadelphia Weekly. In 2008, they joined NELSON as a Marketing Assistant and then moved to Ogilvy in 2009 as a Marketing Representative. In 2010, they became the Director of Conferences and Events at NAPCO, where they designed and implemented programming, managed marketing, and produced Power Meetings. In 2013, they joined Technically Media as the Events Director and Secretary of the Board, where they scaled existing product portfolios and grew annual signature events. In 2018, they founded GOLDEN HOUR, a small-batch clothing company that focuses on using sustainable deadstock materials. In 2021, they joined CartHook as a Partner Marketing Manager, where they built and expanded relationships with partners throughout the Shopify ecosystem and contributed to the company's growth strategy. Kate is currently a Partner Marketing Manager at Tydo, which they joined in 2022.
Kate Cassidy obtained their Bachelor of Communications in Journalism from Temple University between 2004 and 2008. In 2007, they also participated in Semester at Sea at the University of Virginia.
