🦀 Joshua Blakeley

Joshua Blakeley has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011. From August 2011 to August 2016, they worked in various roles at "All the places!", including Chemist, Lab Technician, Admin Wizard, Firefighter, and Amateur Coder. In August 2017, they joined Tyk as a Graduate Go Engineer and Support Engineer, a role they held until June 2018. From June 2018 to December 2018, they worked as a Junior Go (Golang) Engineer at Tyk. In January 2019, they transitioned to the role of Go Engineer and then became a Consulting Engineer from June 2019 to July 2020. From July 2020 to April 2021, they served as a Solutions Architect at Tyk. Subsequently, they were promoted to Lead Solution Architect, EMEA and held that position from April 2021 to November 2022. Currently, Joshua works as the Director of Solutions Architecture at Tyk, starting in November 2022.

Joshua Blakeley completed a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Birmingham from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Chemistry Msci degree from the University of Nottingham from 2007 to 2011.
