Jennifer Hines, CPC, has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and broadcasting. Jennifer currently holds the position of Chief Communications Officer (CCO) at Tyler ISD since July 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Executive Director of Communications at Tyler ISD from October 2019 to July 2021.
In addition to their work at Tyler ISD, Jennifer has also worked as a CPC Faculty Member at Texas Christian University in July 2023.
Jennifer's broadcasting career includes various roles at different organizations. At KLTV, they served as a Senior Midday Anchor & 5pm Anchor/Producer from September 2018 to October 2019. Prior to that, they held the positions of Midday Anchor/Producer, 4pm and 5pm Anchor from September 2012 to October 2018, Midday and 5pm Anchor from November 2011 to September 2012, and Morning Anchor/5pm Anchor from May 2009 to November 2011.
Before joining KLTV, Jennifer worked as a Senior News Anchor at KRIS Communications from March 2007 to May 2009. Jennifer also gained experience as a News Anchor/Reporter at News 8 Austin from March 2004 to April 2007, and as a Reporter/Fill-In Anchor at News 9 San Antonio from February 2003 to March 2004.
Prior to these roles, they started their career as a News Anchor/Reporter at KTXS ABC Abilene, Texas from November 2000 to February 2003.
Jennifer Hines, CPC, has a diverse education background. In 2021-2022, they attended Texas Christian University, where they obtained a degree in Certified Public Communicator, specializing in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs. Prior to that, from 1996-2000, Jennifer studied Journalism at The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on Broadcast Journalism. Jennifer completed their secondary education at Trinity Christian Academy from 1991-1996. In addition to their formal education, they also hold an Executive Leadership Certificate from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), which was obtained in 2023.
