Julie Davis, PhD has a diverse range of experience in the education field. Julie has served as Chief of School Leadership at Tyler ISD since June 2017. Prior to that, they worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Northwest Missouri State University starting in January 2023. Julie also has administrative experience, having served as Assistant Superintendent at Gladewater ISD from June 2015 to June 2017, and as High School Principal at Castleberry ISD from June 2012 to June 2015. Julie began their career as a Mathematics Teacher at a Public School from March 1993 to May 2005, and also worked as an Assistant Principal at Irving ISD from July 2008 to June 2012. Julie's early experience includes serving as an Educational Diagnostician at Grapevine-Colleyville ISD from July 2005 to June 2008.

Julie Davis, PhD earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Special Education and Administration from Texas Woman's University in the years 2008 to 2011.
