Kendrick Sammons

Kendrick Sammons is an experienced educator and musician with a diverse background in teaching and music performance. Currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher at Tyler ISD since August 2024, Kendrick previously worked as a 3rd grade math teacher at Crandall ISD from August 2022 to July 2024 and as a Music Teacher for Dallas Independent School District from August 2021 to May 2022. In addition to teaching, Kendrick has a rich musical history, having served as a Keyboardist at Holy Tabernacle Church and a Musician at Redeeming Life Church Of God. Earlier roles include logistics coordination at TA Services and production assistance at Jostens. Kendrick's academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Studies with concentrations in music, business, and Spanish from the University of North Texas.
