Melvin Jenkins is an experienced athletic coach and educator with a robust background in softball coaching at various educational institutions. Currently serving as the Head Softball Coach at Tyler High School and a teacher at Tyler Early College High School since August 2020, Melvin has previously held coaching and administrative roles at Pratt Community College, Vernon College, and several high schools, managing programs, fundraising, and coordinating academic support. With a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master's in Human Services from St. Edward's University, Melvin combines academic expertise with practical coaching experience, demonstrating a strong commitment to sports and education.
